“I’ve spent decades in the technology world, and what drives me today is connecting businesses with the right technology and people to keep them secure and running smoothly. I enjoy seeing the big picture and bringing the right resources together to make that happen. Once a month, the whole Waterdog team comes together to let their hair down, share a meal on Waterdog, and just enjoy each other’s company. Outside of work, I love working out at Orange Theory, heading out with my wife and our two dogs, a Portuguese Water Dog and a rescue Pit Bull mix, and chasing my grandson and granddaughter around my home until I drop.”
Fred’s career in computers began in 1976 when he graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration majoring in Computer Sciences. Starting his career as a consultant programming mini computers, Fred migrated to the PC platform in the early ’80s. He spent over 25 years consulting for diverse organizations such as banks, newspaper publishers, computer manufacturers, finance companies, and online shopping networks, giving him a deep understanding of how businesses of all kinds depend on reliable technology to operate.
In 2002, Fred founded In-Home Advanced Technologies (iHat), which evolved over the years into Waterdog Computer Works and most recently into Waterdog, reflecting the company’s expanded focus on IT and cybersecurity solutions for small businesses. Today, Fred has built a team of dedicated professionals handling marketing, administration, and managed services, freeing him to focus on what he does best: working directly with clients to understand their needs and delivering the right solutions. Fred personally leads all sales efforts, ensuring that every potential client gets the attention and expertise they deserve from day one. Fred prides himself on superior quality of service and as a result, Waterdog has earned the trust of thousands of satisfied customers over the years.
